I opened up the battery cover and it looks like this remote is capable. However, there are no pins.. just the 6 pin holes. Is it possible to modify this so I can use a JP1 cable? It does say "JP1" in there.
I was pretty happy with my remote before.. I just got a different satellite receiver tho and there are no codes for it in the remote. Now I either have to buy a new remote, or find someway to put a new code in it. I need a ViewSat receiver code.
Is there any hope in keeping this one? Or can anyone reccomend something different for me that will work.
