Hi,
unit1 and unit2 both worked on two of my ReplayTV remotes branded with the "SonicBlue replaytv" logo. However, I have a 3rd remote without the "SonicBlue" logo (just replaytv) on which the unit1 file won't upload (I haven't tried unit2). Besides the logo difference, the units appear identical--even in color.
I get a warning before uploading that looks like this:
I click "yes" then, after a pause, get this message:
Obviously, this remote is somehow different. Anyone know what's going on?
edit: I'm using IR 6.20, in case that matters. |

I would suggest that you do a 981 "MFR RESET" on the remote and then read back the data to see what it's default image looks like. Before typing in 981, do whatever key sequence you normally do to get the remote ready to accept a TV code. _________________ Rob

Hi,
I don't know if I should start a new thread for this or not, so feel free to split it into a new one (with a link here).
I'd like to use unit1 with a Philips DVD player model DVP5960 (codes here). How can I "merge" these two files, and how does one switch the RTV remote into "DVD mode"?
Thanks,
