JP1 Remotes

This remote is provided with the Videotron Illico PVR Scientific Atlanta 8300 HD. The model is UR5-8400A. Behind the battery cover is an unlabeled connector which is 4 straight pins instead of the JP1 standard six pins.

Q: Is this a JP1 remote at all?
Q: If not, can it be upgraded with a cable?
Q: If not, where can we find unlisted codes?

There is nothing in your description that leads me to believe it is a UEI remote, and if it's not a UEI remote, there's absolutely no possibility of using JP1 to update it.

Edit: I found the user manual for this remote and it's definitely not a UEI remote.
