I'll post them. Actually it's just a matter of correlating what buttons I learned them to.

Here's what I do when I'm learning a remote like this. First I learn all the buttons that have equivilent buttons on the JP1 remote. Then I learn all of the others and when I do so, I learn them in the order that they appear on the original remote (it doesn't matter what button on the JP1 remote you use), then I immediately download the memory from the JP1 remote and go through each of the learned signals adding a "note" to each of them stating what the original button label is. The learned signals in IR will appear in the order that they were learned, so correlating them back to the original remote shouldn't be a problem.

Here are all of the buttons: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=3891

Got some strange looking learns (still worked) but I redid them so they (both work and) appear in consistent form.

Thanks again guys for the help, this HD tuner is really a great match for a 4xxx/5xxx ReplayTV. 8)

Thanks Ken (and thanks for the extra effort with getting good learns, as it does make it easier for me). I'll try and create an upgrade over the weekend and post it for you to test.

Somehow I forgot 2 buttons. Embarassed

(one was pretty important)

Learned them and replaced the zip file. Be sure to re-download that (hopefully) before you get started. If you find any problems let me know.

And we have a winner! Loaded it up (haven't systematically tested all buttons yet) but the obvious ones work.

I'll test further and if I run into anything I'll report back.

Thanks (always) for the jp1 coding wizardry! 8)

Hi Robman,
I also own a Samsung H260F receiver and OneForAll 8910 remote. Thank you for taking the time to create this upgrade. It works well, but one important button does appear to be missing --the Power button. Very Happy

It's weird, I thought that the POWER button hadn't been learned, but now I see that I decoded it from the first batch and found that it uses OBC 30.

I have just replaced the KM file, but if you don't want to bother re-downloading it, you can just add it yourself in the Functions list with OBC 30.

I did as you asked and added it to the functions list with OBC 30. That worked! Thanks again.

Thanks for the decode on this Rob... just loaded and tested it after I had come to the conclusion that I was not going to be able to include the tuner remote after working with the learned codes.

It actually works far better than the original remote which is either underpowered or mis-aimed.

For anyone interested in this hdtv tuner unit, it's designed to be used with component-i or above... composite output works well for displaying video, but you cannot access the tuner's menus using composite.

This is somewhat complicated by the mix of connectors here/there... you may need to use some expensive adapters, and there are some nice features in the menus... which will have to wait for a major attic rewire.

Could someone convert the protocol for this Samsung DTB-H260F to the 740 remotes for my 8800? Is it even possible? I tried copying the S3C80 version to the protocol builder in excel but it didn't work and looks to be more complicated then I know what to do with.

Thanks,
Curtis

Just for the record, since I'm presently adding new protocols to DecodeIR, this one was added by John Fine on March 13, 2007, into version 2.35 as Samsung36.
