Just FYI, my unit's model number is: RCD-W1 and the remote is RM-R50.

The Finalize button learns as Sony20, device 26, sub-device 202, OBC 80

And just in case you need it, the Input button is OBC 102

It looks like Sony is using different sub-device codes for some of the different models of their CD recorders, so I think we both need to capture all of the buttons from our remotes and post the upgrades.

Rob, are your numbers for the actual finalizing or System menu? My numbers bring up the menu and I must scroll to finalized. My numbers are for the system menu.

So far the OBC codes seem to be the same. The difference is the sub-device code of 250.

My remote has a FINALIZE button that you have to press, followed by the PLAY button, when you have finished recording a CD, that is the button that I recorded. My CD recorder doesn't hook up to a TV, so I don't have a system menu of any sort.

I wish my remote only used a finalized button. Scrolling thru the menu to finalize becomes a pain in the butt. I have to scroll to finalize on my Sanyo also. Crying or Very sad
I am off to build the upgrade for my GX315 and the Sanyo later. Surprised
