I crerated a new category "OtherFormats" within the Miscellaneous section of the file area.
There I posted a spreadsheet giving the results of testing with a Sony AX4000.

For a bunch of different samples (mainly hand edited intentional garbage) of AX4000 hex, I used CaptureIR to decode the signal. Then I put protocol, device, obc, etc. into this spreadsheet.
I'm moving in the direction of being able to convert (either direction) between the JP1 form of IR signals and the AX4000 form.
BTW, I didn't give a lot of thought to where to put this within the file area hieracrchy. Rob, if you think I made a porr choice, feel free to correct it. I'm hoping someday we will have data or links here to many other formats for representing IR, such as LIRC. By "other", I think I mean not JP1 format, because JP1 is the main topic here, and not Pronto Hex, because Pronto Hex is pretty much the common language of the broader IR world. |
