|
Hi,
I'm a newbie and I need some info. I'm using winlirc, this is a program that can send ir signal from the serial port. See links:
http://www.lirc.org/ (homepage)
http://winlirc.sourceforge.net/ (windows version)
Is there a way to convert the lirc configuration file into a jp1 compatible configuration?
Here's a sample of a lirc configuration file:
name PR-DVD2.0
bits 16
flags SPACE_ENC|CONST_LENGTH
eps 30

We don't have any general rule or program for converting these, but several of us are fairly good at interpreting them.
I think this one is NEC1 protocol, device 1, no subdevice.
I think for each command the JP1 "hex command" is the last two digits of the LIRC hex (that is a common rule when translating LIRC to JP1, but it is NOT a universal rule, so don't apply it blindly to other LIRC files).
The above info should be enough to build an upgrade. Entry of functions by hex command (rather than EFC or OBC) is a little cleaner in RM than in KM, but it can be done in either.
The Malata-N996 upgrade in the JP1 files uses NEC1 device 1 (and there is a CCF file for that at RC). But that seems to use totally different hex commands from your device. I don't have data on any other DVD using NEC1 device 1. |
