JP1 Remotes

hello all - thanks in advance for the help. i used ir version 3 a few years ago when i got my first dtivo (a hughes hdvr2) and the 6131 to control it. it all worked fine back then, using code 1142 to control it. now, i have picked up a 2nd dtivo (a directv r10), and all of the remote stuff is out of whack. i downloaded the current versions of ir, and keymap master, read up on how to use them, and setup what i thougt would work. i set up 2 upgrade devices to upload to the remote (using robman's tivo master file), setting each with a unique device code and unit number. my remote took the upgrades just fine, but when i go to control each individual dtivo, the keys are not mapped correctly (even though they look correct in keymap master). please help!

The device codes should be the same for each upgrade, it's just the unit codes that are different.

If the buttons are out of whack, it means that you have either...

1) not selected the correct remote in RM or KM
2) changed the device mode after copying the upgrade over to IR

it was #2 that you listed above... rob, you're my hero : )
