Try using the RDF for the 10820 to start.

10820 RDF

It appears to have a similar general section. Either way, it's worth a shot.

You'll still need to create the map and image files for use in RM.

A couple things....
    1) I think you'll have to remove the line marked "AdvCodeFormat=EFC" so RM will correctly format the long key moves as Greg just recently updated in RM v1.65
    2) Your protocols section doesn't have all the variants updated as well. I'm not sure it this applies to the 7555, but this is what the guys have come up with for the x820 family.
Code:
[Protocols]
0000, 0002:5, 0006, 0007, 000A, 000C, 000D, 000E, 0011, 0013,

Thanks. Have now uploaded Image and map for this remote.
I haven't altered the protocols yet in the rdf as I'm at work and can't check whether any errors are thrown up from that.

I think as this is a European model that the protocols are likely to be the same as in a 8206 Kameleon. US models don't seem to have the $015e protocol necessary for UK IRDA cable remote emulation.
I tried an upgrade but though it seemed to upload OK when I downloaded from the remote to check it was not present though the keymoves were still listed. rmdu here
Image map & rdf here
Had to do a 981 reset for the remote to learn properly.

RM 1.65
IR70beta2.

Here is the correct [Protocols] section for the URC-7555 RDF:
Code:
[Protocols]

Thanks Mike.
My problem now is to get a device upgrade to stick.
files here
reloading the b4.ir file shifted the learned commands from the Sat to TV button over-riding the 0556 button codes.

RDF now working thanks to binky123 who also found the reason for the above problem which is in the way IR70beta handles devices with learned commands.
edit: Added setting into rdf which fixes this.

For some reason, the [protocols] section was not updated in the RDF.
The whole protocol section should be replaced with the one listed in this thread.

Hi

I'm just starting out on this JP stuff with my URC-7555 remote. I don't understand any of the above posts, but can someone say whether it is possible to program my URC-7555?
