Hello Everyone,
I have a URC7562 and a JP1 cable.
I have leaned a key from a unknown, unmarked remote.
From this one learned key can I find a predefined device in the remote to do this function or not?
The information I got from this leraned function are :
PROTOCOl : gap-20-1531-84?
Device : 76
subdevice : 114
OBC : 201
misc : 4C.72.78.12.60.92.C3.93.0.93.C
Does it mean anything to anyone ?
Any help would be apreciated
Regards,
Lebritish. |

In the majority of cases the experts here could identify a single predefined setup code based on a single learned signal.
But sometimes there is no predefined setup code, and sometimes more than one setup code fits (until you gather more details), and sometimes the decode doesn't fit anything we've ever seen before.
Unfortunately, your decode doesn't fit anything we've ever seen before.
My first guess is that the batteries in the original remote were too weak for correct learning (correct learning requires better batteries in the teaching remote than ordinary use of that remote requires).
Second guess is you weren't holding the remotes at the right distance or angle for learning.
If it isn't either of those, you've found a real strange IR signal, that doesn't match any I've seen before. In that case I'd need a file saved from IR.EXE containing several different samples from that remote before I could begin to figure out what it is. |
