JP1 Remotes

hello Im in need of help in setting up the slingbox built-in remote to work with my coship satellite receiver.

Device:coship cdvb5110JA
Type of device: satellite receiver


I have tried all the 53 codes available on the slingbox but non worked with my sat tuner.

using my zire72 (novii remote software) I was able to learn the code. Please help.

I am from chennai and using Slingpro and is working fine and I am able to get around 45 free channels tuned and able to change the channels remotely using the PC which ever channel we want to see.
Now I have connected set-of-box, supplied by Coship (cdvbc5120) to the sling box. what ever the channel that currently set using the regular remote only we are able to view. The remote function is not working using the remote in the PC. Basically the IR Code in the setup is not able to configure as the brand and model is not available in the configuration setup. can you suggest some solution.

If you think there's a chance that the 5110 and 5120 units use the same IR codeset as the 2300, you could try that upgrade.

I take it that means that the 5120 works with the 2300's upgrade?

Yes, the Sling Box (remote fuctionalily) connected to Coship (cdvbc5120) Set-of-Box is working fine.

sajid - I don't think you're in the right place for those questions.

This sub-forum is for help creating a custom slingbox upgrade to control your device using JP1 tools - not general hardware support for your coship cdvb 5110ja.

Can you a bit more specific ? This thread is 6 years old !! If you are talking about the Coship CDVB box have you checked the file section ?
