It's a "BC-Tech 5-in-1 Learning Plus". Codes 585 and 599 both provide a few (too few) functions.johnsfine wrote:Which other remote and which setup code? Maybe someone here has the data on that setup code.KALel wrote:

Actually, i put that info there more for the benefit of any experts helping you, than for you yourself, as it won't mean much to you at this point.KALel wrote:Thanks...I assume this would help more if I were a JP1 user. I only discovered the possibility the other day when I stumbled across your site...
If you were to become a JP1 user, given that you have a JP1 learning remote, you would be able to learn those few buttons that work from your other universal remote. You could then post the info that the JP1 software gives you about those signals. At that point, the list I posted earlier would help us know if they use the same device code as one of the other Teak upgrades.

Wow. You guys are good. JP1 interests me, but the equipment is an overseas shipment as I live in Australia. Otherwise, I don't really know where to start...I was thinking of finding the advanced codes for my other devices, thus clearing out the learning memory for the new stuff. Do you think that has a chance? The Robman wrote:Actually, i put that info there more for the benefit of any experts helping you, than for you yourself, as it won't mean much to you at this point.KALel wrote:Thanks...I assume this would help more if I were a JP1 user. Being overseas is not an issue, I ship remotes to all the corners of the world all the time, and I've sent plenty of them to Australia. I've been totally amazed at how fast they can get there too. The last time I sent a remote down under it took 4 days to get there. The cost of the postage is really cheap too, USPS Global Priority Mail is $9.50 USD to any country that accepts it (which includes Aus).
