hello all
is there anyone that can help me program the urc-10820 one for all remote to use the tivo dvr switch from 1 to 2? I looked in the manual, but I could not find anything. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

The setup codes for tivo remote addresses are, Address #1- PVR 0740 or SAT 1443, address #2- PVR 0745 or SAT 1444. #3- PVR 1239 or SAT 1538, #4- PVR 1240 or SAT 1539.

To switch addresses on the tivo, it needs to see a command from that new address, when the tivo on the INFO screen. See this
post Of course in those directions, pressing and releasing TIVO & pause only applies to the tivo peanut remote.

Assign the code for TiVo #1 to the PVR device button. Then assign the code for TiVo #2 to the SAT device button. Then to switch which TiVo you are controlling, just press the device button associated with that TiVo (PVR for TiVo #1, SAT for TiVo #2). Of course, you'll also have to do something to your TV (and/or receiver) to switch it to the correct input.

I already set up the remote address previous to getting the remote, but what I would like to know is how would I control this function with this new remote? looking at this remote, I cannot see how I would do this since the Tivo peanut remote has the 1-2 switch to control this. can I control 2 Tivos with just pressing the PVR button or is there another method to this? thank you.

You use two different devices, there are 10 on the 10820. Perhaps PVR device programmed with code 0740. and SAT device programmed with code 1444? You can change any device to any other type of device.
