Help Converting Keymap file

Post by MrEMan »

Hi guys,

I located a KM txt file for a fta sat reciever that I have bought. The remote that came was dead on arrival.

https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=2899

I am trying to program my palm pda using pronto hex into a program called novii remote deluxe.

I am having a hard time decyphering the KM file and converting the individual codes into pronto hex format.

I have been reading for about 20 hours and really can't figure this out any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Okay I think I am making some progress.

I found a program makehex that seems to be what I want, but I just need to know what device ID is used.

If anyone can look through that text file and tell me that I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

E

I don't know how to thank you Robman.

I had just tried device code 2 and nothing...

I put in device code 2.2 and it works...

Wow did I learn a lot in the last couple days...

Very interesting stuff.

I think I'll stick around just to keep my brain working....

Thanks a million.
