Greetings

Have already done my home work ...build a JP1 cable that works well,
down most important utils, reading many messages,...
Now, i've something puzzling me...
I tried Keymap_master , but it seems to me that only someone with
Ofice can use it, i tried Open Office, Star Office, Sot Office ...without
any success, am i missing something ?
How can i convert a posted Yamaha.txt file to be imported in IR.exe
without Office ?

Thanks in advance to pint me in the right direction

Best Regards

Cardoso

KM does require Excel. Try using RemoteMaster instead, which is a Java program that does much of what KM does. You can even import KM .txt files. Download it a http://controlremote.sourceforge.net

Many thanks for the reply. Meantime, i've figured that RemoteMaster
could be also used, and find the import function.
Works very well, now cames the most difficult task, my problem is
with a Yamaha RX-V430RDS.
I call the support to upgrade by phone, now we can also done it by
the web site, sure they give me a 1276 upgrade code, but franchly
i find what i have a big mess, so looking arround i was delighted to
find the JP1 possibility.

Lets see what i can achive-? sorry my English

Regards
