OT: Panasonic introduces new "Oxyride" batteries

I just got done reading an article over at Techlore.com about some new batteries that Panasonic has introduced and it sounds like they've actually got a winner.
I know I'll be trying them out for my NIkon digital camera that eats up batteries.

Be aware though that these batteries start off at about 1.7 volts, so if you use them in your remote, it might mean that there's too much voltage in there for the JP1 cable to work.
