JP1 Remotes

Rodman,
I believe my Sony STR DA4ES receiver is difficult to use universal remote. I want to be a new customer and would like to know what remote(s) work for my receiver. I kind of like the Kameleon but read they are power hungry (a negative). I would still like to hear your suggestions.

BTW... I have an anolog tv.

My order will be for remote and cable. Is the software difficult to use?

I believe that you can use the regular Sony receiver signals for all the main functions, and you can probably use the Sony DSP protocol for the DSP functions.

When programmed using JP1, all remotes are pretty much equal as far as being able to work a device.
