Translating Pronto Codes

Post by abroadst »

I just got the Polk XM receiver (XRt12) and I read there were some discrete codes for on and off over on remotecentral.com. The codes given in that forum are for the Pronto, I believe. I wonder if someone can help me translate these codes to JP1 format.

5000 0000 0000 0001 001B 0072 -- On
5000 0000 0000 0001 001B 0073 -- Off

These are from here:

Codes that begin with 5000 are RC5 protocol.

To get the device number, convert the 5'th value from hex to decimal. In this case 1B hex is 27 decimal.

To get the OBC, convert the 6'th value, in this case On=114 and Off=115.

Hopefully you know how to include that in an upgrade.
