RF remote question re 9910 or 2117

I need to know if the 9910s (or 2117) rf signals emulate the dishnetwork rf signals so that I wont need the ir module that comes with the 9910 (if I buy one).

I'd hate to buy the remote and then find that I must use its repeater.

also, what are my RF options other than these two?

I'm asking because my ir (pyramid) transmitter in my office is being interfered with, but the Dish dedicated uhf remotes aren't affected so if one of these jp1 remotes emulate the dish remote signals I'll buy one.

Ever since I installed a wireless router extension antenna I lost the use of the pyramid transmitter in my office only. All four other pyramid transmitters in the house work fine.

The UEI RF-enabled remotes can only communicate with their respective repeaters. They cannot be used to control other RF equipment.

Thanks for the fast reply!

I wont waste my time looking for one then. I'll put up with using the dedicated remote until I solve the interference problem.

I guess the other question is, will the remote work with a Pyramid reciever?

Just curious, because that would eliminate the need for it's own module also.
