JP1 Remotes

when i tried to add(paste) files to the ir program for my 8910 remote i got the prompt "this remote contains a bug that prevents device upgrades from working if they use upgraded protocols".the workaround is to."set up devices that use upgraded protocols as "Device Button Restricted". How do I do this ? Thanks

Sounds like you have the wrong rdf selected. Download fron the remote in ir first so it will select the right rdf.

That message is from topline and some producer remotes as far as I know.
