So after reading guides for beginners and still having no luck, I am stuck with what to do here.

I found these Pronto Hex codes, but I could not figure out what to do with them since they were not in a file. I tried to use IRTool with them, but I couldnt figure out how to use it all.

An example of one of these is the Volume + Hex code:
0000 006d 0022 0002 0155 00aa 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 06ef 0155 0055 0016 0e34

So if anyone could please help me get started in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

That is NEC1 protocol, device 64, subdevice 64, OBC 168. (Just like Rob told you in your other thread https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... 9471#p39471 )

You're lucky, that hex uses the NEC1 protocol, which is the best supported protocol of all the protocols out there. The main device code is 64 and the sub-device code is 64. The OBC for this particular function is 168.

To create an upgrade for this you would fire up either KM or RM, select the NEC1 protocol, enter 64 in both device code fields, then go to the Functions sheet and start entering the OBCs for the functions.

The following doc might be helpful:

Thanks guys. I swear I used IR Tool before and it didn't give me the message box with the info in it, but now it works.

All of it is working, except the power button only turns the unit off...haha.
