DirecTV on a URC-8811

The DirecTV remote has buttons that I would like to add to my 8811. I have uploaded Robs D10 files to both my 8811 & 8011. They work fine, except for the MENU button brings up the DirecTV ACTIVE channel, which is weird. The other button is the TV INPUT button. This has some strange stuff going on according to IR.

I have learned the buttons to the 8811, and upon looking at them in IR6.15, it appears to be over my head to include these two buttons to the existing Rob file without screwing it up. I added the hex and OBC to the MENU button in Keymap 8.35, but it won't work. I think it is because of the special protocols, which are most certainly above my skill set.

The MENU button on the remote brings up a menu that allows me to change settings and check satellite signal strength. That's what I want, not the ACTIVE thing. The TV INPUT for me will work better than swapping the PIP in my case, because my Zenith TV won't allow me to swap PIPs between my DVD (component video) and the S-video from the DirecTV D10.

The two learned buttons:

Robs original file:

The main question is, how do I add these two buttons into Keymap master without messing up all the rest of the stuff in there which works perfectly?

The command mapped to the Tv INPUT key on the oem remote is punch-through from the TV device, it wouldn't be a command found in the d10 file.

As for the Menu command, try EFC 019.

Alright, the EFC 019 worked perfectly.

As you mentioned, the TV input button was a device punch through, so I can just hit the device, then TV/VID to cycle through the varioud inputs.

Thanks! My remote is darn near perfect now. Who ever designed that DirecTV remote has no idea of ergonomics. You'd have to shift your hand position around on it too much to get stuff done. The 8811 & 8011 especially has great ergos.
