JP1 Remotes

i have a urc8911 and trying to program my remote to work with the 360. i downloaded the code from the dvd section and opened it with rm and copied it with ir to my remote and the code does not work. has anybody got that code to work. do u think if i call all for one they will have the code for the remote

The code in the upgrade section does work. There are both upgrade code and protocol upgrade with the file. Did you copy and paste both device upgrade and protocol upgrade from rm into ir?

yes sir sure did. which one did u use the one in the dvd section or the one in the testing section

There is actually 2 in the dvd section. I made them from original remotes. One is just xbox360 its the little remote that comes with the 360. The other is xbox360 universal media remote it is from the remote that has to be purchased separately. They both work. From the around 70 downloads of the 2 files I have not heard of anyone having trouble with them.

Did you remember to change the setup code (from the upgrade) assigned to the appropriate device button on IR's General tab?
