[HELP] Remote won't download via sound

I have a new URC-8910 remote. I painstakingly used IR and Remote Master to import various device files and create an upgrade WAV file. I played it for my remote placing it in front to two sets of speakers and one set of headphones, trying various positions.

It would "get through" approx 20% of the wav file and then the DOWNLOADING would clear and the display would return back to normal. I even trying resetting the remote's memory first (no luck).

Any idea what I could be doing wrong? Any help with discrete WAV upgrades for the following devices:

LVD-2001 (Lite-On) DVD Player
GoVideo R6750 DVD Recorder
Scientific Atlanta 3250HD Cable Box (HD)
Delphi SkyFi2 XM Receiver
Onkyo TX-S575 AV Receiver
