We have debated in the past what would be the best name to use for the $016C protocol and I have the answer, it's official name is XMP which stands for "eXtensible Multimedia Protocol".
Here is a page from UEI's web site about this protocol...
http://www.uei.com/html.php?page_id=89
I have a question into them regarding the 4 different flavors listed on that page, so when I have more info I'll post it.

I missed this thread until a thread today at RC told me this protocol is called XMP.
It is the one we've been calling "Dreambox", right?
So I should change that in DecodeIR.
Adding it to Protocols.ini has been high on my to-do list, but not yet done.
Lacking new objections, I'll change the name to "XMP" as soon as I release the current DecodeIR in progress.
