Does anybody know if the SpongeBob Squarepants remote from Radio Shack is JP1 compatible?

I couldn't actually find the remote online to get a model number....

Thanks,

Eric

Eric,
The model number is 15-2122 (it says so in the advertisement), and this model number is not listed in the list of JP1-able remotes.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, not so loud. If my wife finds out about this she'll want one. I gotta hope it isn't JP-1 compatible or I'll end up getting stuck with one for sure.

I can try and find out if it's a UEI remote, but even if it is, I'm guessing it's just like the other novelty remotes (like the flag remote, etc) that are "bare bones" remotes and are not JP1 compatible.

After you JP1-program your SpongeBob remote, you can use it to tune in to FOX: I heard the FOX network is bringing back the Ed Sullivan show, and it is going to be hosted by Ed Sullivan himself. The opening act is one of those new flying pigs we have all been hearing so much about, followed by all four original beagles and Elvis doing a Can-Can dance dressed in French Maid outfits. The last act is "really really big" - the eagles are performing live from Hell at the newly built ski lodge there.

Not to worry, we are more likely to get 4 beagles together anyway. Twisted Evil Laughing

Hasn't that pretty much already been done, back in 1956 on the Steve Allen show! Oh wait a minute, that was a basset not a beagle!
