I have a URC 6960 Kameleon remote and need to program some keys into it. I ordered a JP1 cable but it does not fit. The cable has 6 pins, the remote has 6 solder heads. Can anyone help with what I need.

I tried to hold the pins to the solder heads and used IR to read the remote, but no luck

Please Advise

Anand

With any Kameleon remote, you need to also buy the pogo-pin adapter.

HovisDirect is the one vendor who lists in the MARKETPLACE section of this forum who offers a pogo adapter. I don't know that this is a piece any wholesaler would have. You either make one or buy one from Hovis.

Just like a JP1 cable, the pogo-pin adapter is a JP1 part, it's not something that you can buy from a regular shop. So, you either need to make one yourself or buy one from the same person that you bought your JP1 cable from.
