I am desperately in need of help from someone who knows all this jp1 stuff. I recently acquired a slingmedia slingbox. It's actually pretty cool and it is supposed to allow you to view your own television from any broadband connection. It controls your tivo/tv/satellite via an IR cable that needs to be programed with an IR code. Anyways, it doesn't have an IR code for my Samsung Directivo SIR-S4080R so it's not working. I was sent a link to a sling community forum that says that you can program the unit with the remote master and jp1. (http://www.slingcommunity.com/article/10580) I've tried using the Remote Master program but I can't figure out what i'm doing....I'm lost. I done a pretty thorough internet search and I'm a programmer so i'm not scared of technical language nevertheless i can't figure this out. So I'm requesting some assitance from a generous JP1 expert. Here are my specs:

# JP1 Remote model: Slingbox PL Version
# JP1 user? Don't need it.
# Still have original remote? I have the Slingbox
# Checked the file section? Yes, but did not find a compatible file.
# Checked the Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes, but did not find a compatible file
# Partially working setup code? Absolutely no luck.
# Learning remote question? Its not a learning remote.
