Vizio L32 LCD HDTV

3. Year: 2005
4. JP1 Remote model: Atlas PVR 5
5. JP1 user? Yes
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? No
10. Learning remote question? Don't have a learning remote.

The Vizio files in the file section do not work for this TV (at all). The original remote has a pinless JP1.2 socket.

That sure makes it sound like the OEM remote is a UEI model, does it respond to any of the usual 9xx type commands? If so, see if you can use 990 to blink back the TV's setup code.

I have a Vizio L32HD and the 990 command on the supplied remote returns code 0178 for the TV. This code gives basic functionality when selected in my URC-8910.

If that post means you would like more functions. Look at the advanced codes for 0178.
