They say the coship2300 is just like the strong srt3680, but none of the strong files
posted here worked. Strong has models of receivers that are totally different from
each other. The strong srt4640 is exactly like a coolsat, the coolsat remote will work
100% with srt4640 firmware installed. I was hoping somebody would have one and
also have a learning remote to absorb the coship2300 signals.
I found out the blackbird remote has the same power key hex, also the numbers 1 to 9,
tv/radio,guide,menu,exit all work with coship2300 firmware. The other buttons don't work.
I don't have a receiver to play with, I am trying to help others that are experimenting.
Thanks for the links. |

The Blackbird files here all use the NEC1 protocol with a device code of 0, which is a very common code, so if the people that you are helping are JP1 users, or at least are using One For All remotes, it should be pretty easy for them to figure out the rest of the buttons. (If they're not JP1 users, what good would an upgrade be anyway?). _________________ Rob
