JP1 Remotes

Hello all. Just got my JP1 interface built over the weekend and uploaded the Apex 1100w code set and it works great (and no shift key). Thanks all for your efforts.

I could not see a Previous Chapter or Next Chapter buton configured. So I used the learning feature and them mapped them to the r-rew and f-fwd buttons. I am wondering how I can directly assign the r-rew and f-fwd to execute these desired functions.

Did you check the CH+/- buttons to see if that's what they do?

In order to add these two functions to the upgrade, take a look at the learned signals in IR.exe, it should show the NEC1 protocol with a device code of 5. It should also show an OBC and EFC value. The file that you used has OBC selected, so make a note of the OBC values and then add new entries for Next Chap and Prev Chap in the Functions list. Then finally, go to the Buttons list and assign these two new functions to actual buttons.

I did not check the CH+/- until this morning and that moved the chapters. Thanks Rob!
