The HOME/0167 controls an IR543 box. The IR543 converts infrared signals into X10 signals, which get sent via the power line.

I don't know if a CM15A is even remote controllable, let alone what signals would control it. Did it come with a remote?

Thanks Rob for your promt response. The answer to your question " is the CM15A remote Controllable " is Yes. X10.com also sells a remote as an option for the CM15A. The CM15A is an RF transceiver and the remote sold is a Learning A/V remote with X10 control, it communicates RF commands, and the remotes model is # US74A
Sincerely Edjal

I think you have your answer right there, if a device is RF controlled it cannot be controlled by an IR remote.
