Confused I have a urc-8781b00 remote. I am trying to program my yamaha RV-V800 functions that were missed . I found on the yamaha website has basic and extended i/r codes. I noticed that the codes are a 4 digit hexadecimal code that always goes like this: 7AD2. The first two digits are always 7A.

What I was wondering was how does yamaha's codes translate to EFC's? I Tried the keymapping in the software and it does not seem to work. Am I going down a rathole here?

They are all NEC1 Protocol. 7A is decimal 122 and D2 is OBC 210. Use KM Master, select OBC, select NEC1 protocol, enter device 1=122, enter the OBC's in the functions tab and KM Master will calculate the EFC for that protocol, but at that point it is FYI only.
