I am trying to learn my DVD control and IR reports that the protocol is RECS80, However I cannot find this protocol in KM spreadsheet. Is it just another name for one of the supplied protocols?

What brand is your DVD? And what if any setup code controls it?

I used the search option in this forum to find two recent threads about RECS80

One mentions a DVD upgrade that might be right for your device. The other tells you how to create an upgrade for RECS80 in KM (or more easily in RM).

Thanks for the replies

The two threads seem to offer me the best help.

Model is Oritron DVD600 (UEI Code 0651) and I seem to remember it used protocol 0045 when I last learned it, but I've had to reformat my PC and lost my previous saved upgrade
