Hello All
Great to see the new forum up and running.
I have recently 'had the back off' of my remote to clean the contact points.
Having put it back together, it seem to work OK except that the Back Light doesn't come on when the Lite button is pressed.
I get a high pitched tone instead.
Can anyone offer any advice.
Kind regards
Fred Flange

Hello Again All
Well that didn't take long to fix.
I see that the Back Light is emmited from the tranparent plastic sheet which comes between the Circuit Board and the Keypad.
It has two contact points which are situated beneath the two securing screws which are located under the raised sub-circuit board.
The screws need to be engaged firmly to ensure there is an electrical contact between the Circuit Board and the Light Emmiting Sheet.
I had not screwed them in frimly enough, and having done so now, all seem to be in order.
I seem to remember a posting about this on the old forum at some time, but couln't find it with the search, perhaps my experince will be of use to someone else.
Kind regards
Fred F.

Yup, until I can find a way to build a file section here, that is.
