Hi I just had one of these remotes sent over here to Britain (Thanks, Rob!) and it's excellent. I have used the extender and here is my *.ir file:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=3736
What is noticeable is that I have 413 bytes left for Key Moves and Macros but only 51 for Devices and Protocols. Is it possible to maybe change the balance by about 128 bytes to allow a bit of breathing space?
Many of us in UK will have different appliances to those sold in US and will find it harder to address our devices using built-in protocols and devices. _________________ URC7560/URC7562, URC8910, URC7980, URC6440/OARUSB04G and URC3661 |

Shifting the space around that way in an extender is a bit trickier than you may expect (I haven't looked at that extender, so I'm not sure).
The remote itself is perfectly happy to allow upgrades to overflow into other areas (Keymoves etc. cannot overflow into other areas). Only IR.exe isn't willing to do that. I keep hoping that will be fixed. It isn't trivial either, but would cover this issue for all extenders and non extenders at once.
There is a Java version of IR slowly progressing toward useful. (part of that slow is my fault). Once it is in useful form, I'll probably add that overflow logic myself. Upgrades can overflow to other regions, other things can't overflow their region. I'm not sure of those rules in non S3C80 models. I'm only sure about the S3C80, but that's where the question is most often asked.
Edit: I corrected the little error above that Greg commented on below.
