Yamaha C750

Post by dizman »

Just bought this unit.
This is cut and paste from there site:
The IR format of the DVD-C750 has been changed from NEC format (well-known as YAMAHA NEC format) to Philips RC6 format.
Standard I/R(RC6 format)
Function Decimal Hexadecimal
POWER 004 012 04 0C
1 004 001 04 01
2 004 002 04 02

Can my urc-8810b00 handle this?
What do I need to do to get this device on this remote?

Thanks for newbe questions

Did you try DVD/0539 to see how close that was? Those commands that you listed are the standard Philips DVD commands.

Before you make a first post to a new forum, you really should look to see if there are any sticky threads with titles like PLEASE READ FIRST and if there are, you should read them.

Failing to show the forum users that much consideration normally means they will just ignore you completely.

DVD/0539 will be correct. If you find it's missing any advanced functions, you can get those from any upgrade or advanced functions list for Philips DVDs.

The Yamaha DVDs that use RC6, use it identically to Philips DVDs.
