Hello
i got a URC-7562.
I've tried to programm my Remote for a VDR with Lirc .
I've tried many ways, one way was to remap the VCR with a CD Code and then remap some Keys with the 994 mode.

My problem now is , ican not remove this last settings with 994.
I've tried a 980 and 981 Reset, now nothing works anymore but I have the problem that the Yellow Key does not react anymore, no blinking when pressing??????
I think physicaly the button is correct, but what is wrong.

I want to completely Reset my Remote, is there a posibilty over JP1, like a Cmos Reset?

When you did the 981 reset, did you get 4 short blinks? If so, that at least means your remote is working OK. Have you tried doing a keymove onto the yellow button? If the button doesn't respond during the keymvoe processing, it might be worn out.

Thanks for the Reply.
My English is not the best, i am German.

Yes i got 4 blinks, after 981

i tried to remap the yellow key, thats the case.

I go and get my dictionary and will see what "worn out" means.
What can i do?

I want to use or try the 0000 Vcr Code how can i be sure that every button is working with this code.
Can anyone give me the Keymagic code that i can try with my yellow cd key?
There is no CD player on it so i can programm the key to anythng.

"worn out" means that you have used the button too many times and it no longer works.

A 981 reset will remove ALL user programming.

To test that the yellow button still works, try copying a working button onto it, like this...

1) Hold SETUP (MAGIC) button, 2 flashes
2) Type 994, 2 flashes
3) Press good button
4) Press yellow button, 2 flashes

The yellow button should now perform the same function as the good button that was copied.

This is a feature of the URC for your own safety since the yellow button is the record button. So you could not send the record signal by accident.

Sorry, but you have to know the right button code by yourself.

PS: Du solltest wirklich der Yahoo-Gruppe beitreten, dass würde die Angelegenheit erheblich vereinfachen. Mein Schulenglisch liegt auch schon über 20 Jahre zurück. Wink
