I am looking for the HD100 individual output select format codes.

OBC 50 / EFC 048 work as a toggle to change the output select format but I am looking for the specific code for each of the following output formats:

Video 1/2, VHF/UHF 480i

Video 3 480i

Video 3 variable

Video 3 1080i

VGA 1080i

Can someone help?

As with all questions like this, it pays to give as much basic info as possible, because in all likelyhood, the person who helps you will get the info from a search rather than because they own the same device.

So...
Q1. What sort of device is an "HD100" (ie, is it a VCR, DVD, CD, etc)
Q2. What setup code are you using with it? If it's a homemade code, what protocol and device code(s) are you using?

The next question will be "What is a Sony HD100?" and it will be asked by Rob Smile

I found this link to a page that states "the Sony HD100 is the most anticipated product in the short history of consumer HDTV." "The Sony HD100 is both a (DirectTV Sat) DSS receiver and a terrestrial TV tuner."

Next I will go look in files section at JP1 to see if anyone has created an upgrade for this device. I wonder if I should look under TV or Sat ?

I look pretty stupid right about now Smile

But really, Rob's note was not present when I started writing my last note. If I didnt edit it so damn much, I coulda gotten it in 3 or 4 minutes sooner and the thread would flow so much better Smile

I did not find any KM.txt files in the JP1 file area under TV, Sat, or HDTV, but I did find 3 files .ccf in the proto section of remotecentral. I would love to share this information with everyone, but I haven't a clue how to open .ccf files (notepad didnt work.)

I recall one of the experts here at this forum said that ccf2ecf.exe was not the best choice and he suggested something else. I am going to hunt for that note now.

I think the only IR discrete commands are On and Off (EFC's 113 and 109 respectively). A complete command list is here, http://www.anycities.com/rhm5757/sony_home.htm along with information on how to use with an OFA remote. Sat_0639 should have most of the common commands and you can also look here for additional EFC's http://www.hifi-remote.com/cgi-bin2/ueic.cgi?sat_0639
