Updated jp1 remotes chart?

Post by wrlwnd »

Has anybody looked at updating the chart of JP1 remotes lately? I see the latest version in the files area is dated Jan of this year.

I came across a cheap price on the urc 3021 and 4021 and am wondering if they are JP1able. this looks like it would be great for several rooms in the house as I am needing remotes to control 3 replays and the price on these would be great.

The most recent cheap OFA remotes (ie, the 3021, 4021 and 4041) are definitely NOT JP1-able, even with a modification.

Rob,

Thanks a bunch for the quick response.

Trying to decide which remote to go with as I will need al least 5 of them and want to program them the same except for the tv. I will be putting at least 3 replay discrete codes in and possibly a 4th and that is all they will control so am inexpensive one is what I am looking for.

If you want the remotes to work ReplayTV I would recommend the URC-6131 PVR remote. If you want the remote to be able to control multiple Replays using the discrete power commands, you will the JP1 ready version of the remote, which I sell.

The normal price for the URC_6131 is $23 each, but if you were to buy 5 of them, I could cut you a deal. I could also load the special programming that I usually keep for my ebay sales which lets you easily switch between multiple Replays.

Drop me an email if you're interested.
