Macro repeat rate or key burst (hold) extending

How can I change macro repeat rate or extend keypress
burst length. I have Philips FR975 receiver that
requires me to hold the input select key for about 1 sec
before it switches to that source. If I put input
switch key in a macro it gets send for about 0.5 sec
which is too short for receiver to make it switch.
Is there a way to shorten the delay between kepresses
send in a macro or maybe a way to exetend learned key
to make it last longer (editing learned sequence?)
