Discrete On/Off codes for a JVC XV-F80BK

I have exhausted my search for Discrete On/Off codes for a JVC XV-F80BK 7 disc DVD/CD player. I have tried the generic JVC 247/248 EFCs. Does anyone know if they exist for this device???

Greg,
I looked through the JVC DVD/CD's at RC and there is one that says it has "discrete" power commands. In fact, it is a Macro using the Play button. Apparently the unit will turn On from Off with the Play command. That concept works well for many DVD's, CD's and some VCR's.
So the workaround is On= Play|Stop and Off = Play|Power
