KM with Excel 97? Get the SR-2b update.

If you're using Excel 97 (or any part of Office 97) get the Service Release 2b update here.
There's a ton of updates and bug fixes, including Y2K compliance and calculation fixes for Excel. Hit the links on that page.
You must apply the Service Release 1 update first! It's linked on that page too. Fortunately it's not quite 9 megabytes. SR-2b is over 23 megabytes.
If KM is wanting you to enable the Analysis ToolPak and you know it's installed, with Excel 97 you have to start a new document in order to access the Add-Ins option on the tools menu because the KM document closes itself. (It doesn't do that on Excel XP.)
If you're concerned about privacy, get the Office 97 Unique Identifier Patch here. This stops any Office 97 or standalone 97 application from inserting Unique Identifiers into your documents. There's also a Unique Identifier Remover tool on that page to remove the UI from documents.
