rf extender

can rf extender's from the rs 15-2117 be used with any remote?
or does it have to be that specific one?

The RF extenders are interchangeable, which means you could use the 15-2117's RF extender box with a URC-9910, URC-9800, URC-8090 and URC-1995. I believe you can also use it with the 15-1925, but I don't think it will work with the 15-1919.
