Hello,

version 14 of RemoteChart.xls has been uploaded to the files section of the JP1 group.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jp1/files ... eChart.xls

The major changes are :
  • Added 15-1919, Atlas, Dolphin, Dreambox V2, Explorer, Intuitive.
Added RM support status (support is yes if a RM RDF exists).
    Updated signatures for 6805 remotes.
    Updated support status.
By the way, I noticed that :

- The current set of RDFs for KM does not include the following remotes :
  • DirecTV (signature DTV1)
    Kenwood R0720 (signature GEM8GEM0)
    Kenwood R0905 (signature KWRV)
- The second half of signature for 6805 based remotes are missing for :
  • DirecTV (signature DTV1)
    Explorer (signature SA40)
    Explorer3 (signature ER10)
    Navigator 43xx (signature CA00)
    Kenwood R0905 (signature KWRV)
    Sky Remote (signature BSKY)
As always, any comment, addition or correction is welcomed.

Alain

The CA00 Navigator 43xxx does not have a second half signature.

I believe the second half for the "KWRV" is "KWR0". Work on this model is not far enough along that a meaningful RDF can be done yet.

BTW, you should refer to the Atlas model as "Atlas DVR".

UEI lists both a 4-device "Atlas" and a 5-device "Atlas DVR" on their web site. We have no info on the 4-device model.

We need to start seperating the 6805s into the two known types, though I don't think we've established a standard way of referring to each of them yet.

I think 6805-C9 and 6805-RC have been thrown out there as ideas.

I just uploaded new versions (1.04) of both RDF Zip files in the jp1 Files/Tools folder. (Link at bottom)

The RM and IR compatable version includes the 3 missing RDF's mentioned by Alain.
  • DirecTV (signature DTV1) - Added Generic image & [DeviceTypeAliases]
Kenwood R0720 (signature GEM8GEM0) - Added Generic image & [DeviceTypeAliases]
Kenwood R0905 (signature KWRV) - This one does not have enough in it to make it RM compliant.
The RM only version also includes these RDF's but the first 2 been updated with the generic names.

NOTE: I will work on real maps for these

Line 17 - RadioShack 15-2117 Protocol/Extender should be yes/yes

Thanks

Aside from distinguishing between them by CPU, you could use the IR generation methodology (hardware or software) as the basis for the names.

Having said that, I'm fine with these two names.

6805-C9 Types
  • URC-43000 Navigator
    URC-7070
    15-1918
    15-1919
    15-1925
All the others are 6805-RC types so far.

Mike, I forget which Navigator is which, but all the other remotes you listed use the RC16 chip.

Negative. They all use the C9-type chip.

The URC44000 Navigator(s), Intuitive and Kenwood remotes use the RC16 chip.
