I have a XM Radio Raody2. Tried the SkyFi codes (XM_Radio1.txt) but it did not appear to work. Followed lawyerman's directions (11 Dec 2002) in previous Roady thread. As this is the first time I am trying to upload a new code I'm not sure if I did something wrong. Has anyone succesfully used with Roady2?
Thanks

OK, you tried the
XM_Radio1.txt file, but did you try this file:
Delphi SkyFi XM Radio - SAT_0730.txt?
You didn't use the required template and only answered 2 of the 7 questions in the text of your post, so there's not much more we can do to help, sorry.

Ah protocol....
1. Device: XM Radio Roady2
2. Type of device: Satelite radio
3. Remote model: URC-8910
4. JP1 user? YES (first time)
5. Still have original remote? no (trying to avoid buying one)
6. Checked Yahoo file section? yes
7. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? no
Tried "delphi" file also. I think the problem lies in what to copy from the spreadsheet to IR. I am copying the three lines inside the upgrade area (" 5A 00 01 00 FF FF ") into the device area of IR. Yet, when I look at the EFC codes, they all say "[not mapped]". Is there a way to map to the EFC field directly (power = 21), etc?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks. The second file worked.
It's funny. I thought I had followed the directions the first time; but for whatever reason it (loading of txt file) worked this time.
Cool.

From the sound of your earlier post, you didn't cut & paste the header line, which contains the setup code number.
