How to transfer modem update from URC-7562 to URC-5550?

Hi,

I've got a device update via modem for my URC-7562 for a Medion MD 7457 DVD Player.

Now I got a URC-5550 and want to use it for the dvd player too.

The OFA support refused to update my remote because it doesn't support dvd players.

Is there a way to extract the device update from a jp1 backup of my 7562 so I can upload it to the 5550 via jp1?

Just upload your file saved in IR from the 7562 here and read How to post a link to the JP1 Yahoo files and then post a link to your file and one of us can help you do what you want.

To re-create this upgrade using either KM or RM, select the NEC1 protocol and enter a device code of 0. Then enter in the EFCs that are displayed in IR.exe.

There's also a couple of keymoves, one overrides the device upgrade on Auto{Blue}. Just enter these in RM/KM as well.

And remember to upload the RM/KM file to the appropriate section on yahoo in case anyone else needs this.
