My TEAC Receiver uses code 0463 with my URC 8811. I've been looking at the advanced codes file with this code.
Are there discrete Power codes available for this 0463 code.

Thanks

I assume you found this advanced code list...
http://www.hifi-remote.com/cgi-bin2/ueic.cgi?amp_0463

We don't have discrete power codes listed there, so it's possible that they don't exist. However, you could always try testing the gap codes yourself.

I have created a KM file for you to help you get started: Teac_Receiver.txt

Thanks Rob for posting the file.
Can the receiver get damaged if I begin to try the "gap" codes?

It's unlikely, but there are no guarantees. If your device was a TV set, I would strongly caution you against randomly trying EFC codes on it, but generally speaking stereo receivers are OK for this.

(But I have heard of one case, and only one mind you, where a receiver was messed up by it)
