The IR codes for FTA receivers are not compatible with codes that the ReplayTV sends out via the IR Blaster. Is there such a thing as a IR converter? This device would receive a code and send out a different code depending upon a lookup table. I am sure there would be a nice "niche" market for this device in the FTA receiver community.

What is an FTA receiver? IIRC, flipflop figured out how to add additional IR commands to Replay's repertoire. Rob Crowe, the penultimate OFA and ReplayTV guru, is on vacation this week, so bump this thread in a week, unless I am confusing what you are looking for.

A Genuine FTA receiver is a satellite receiver that receives only channels that are broadcast withouth security encryption whatsoever.
To make things clear (or confuse), the satellite pirate community has written pirate firmware so that one can use certain FTA models to steal satelite TV, but make out (as always) that they are somehow still an FTA receiver.
