The last time I had to upgrade my remote the latest version of IR was 3.12 any my 15-2133 works just fine with this older software...
But with the new IR5.10 I get an error halfway in the data transfer???
The error says something about not having the correct part in my JP-1 cable????
Why the change??

It would help to know the exact message you're getting. The IR communcation routines were made a bit more robust somewhere back in v4.x. The design of the Simple interface has also been revised (1k resistors instead of 10k). All of that was supposed to make the errors less likely to occur. Obviously, it still happens. _________________ Mark |
